BECOME A MEMBER
A unique institution within the Portland community, Nationale exhibits the work of up-and-coming artists alongside stimulating, affordable events and a well-curated assortment of goods. Through such varied efforts, Nationale ultimately operates as a dynamic forum for the arts, open and welcoming to all.
In order to successfully uphold this mission, Nationale depends on the generous support of its members. Membership represents one of the few income sources that Nationale can use both to improve the quality of its programs and to develop original mediums for artistic presentation, such as the new exhibition catalogs. Membership dues enable Nationale not only to professionally document and promote its events, but to also realize such extraordinary performances in the first place. By becoming a member, you do not simply become a part of Nationale- you become an important part of the art community itself.
Past performers have included Woolly Mammoth Comes to Dinner, Oregon Painting Society, Fuchsia Lin, Jim Camou & Lucy Yim, Eliza Fernand, Neal Morgan, Jennifer Armbrust, Memphis Khan, Glitterheart, White Fang, Elizabeth Jaeger & Jenna Kaës, White Rainbow, Barna Howard, Davis Hooker, Sister Double Therapy, Rad Wave USA, and Matthew Huff. Jon Raymond, Tom Blood, Jae Choi, John Niekrasz, Erin Perry, and Joseph Mains have all read selections from their work. Lisa Radon, Malo Sutra Fish, Nim Wunnan, Christy Lutz, and several of our monthly artists have given lectures to our members.
